Description
The Series 3474-NWO Straight Male Adjustable ORB x Male ORB hydraulic adapters, made from carbon steel, are an adjustable version of the standard 6464-O series, offering enhanced versatility for hydraulic systems. These ORB (SAE Straight Thread O-ring Boss) fittings are designed with a male connection featuring a straight UNF thread and an O-ring, ensuring a leak-tight seal when the O-ring is compressed into the chamfer of the mating female connection. The female port has a precisely machined surface and straight thread to provide a smooth, flat surface for accurate alignment. Commonly manufactured in carbon, nickel-plated carbon, and stainless steel, and using Buna-N or Viton 90 Durometer O-rings, these fittings are ideal for medium to high-pressure hydraulic systems. They are endorsed by the NFPA for leak prevention, ensuring reliable, durable performance in fluid power applications.
