Description
The Series 6425 Straight Female SAE ORB x Female SAE ORB adapters in carbon steel are high-performance fittings designed to provide secure, leak-free connections in medium and high-pressure hydraulic systems. These adapters use SAE J1926 Straight Thread O-Ring Boss (ORB) connections, which are recommended by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for leak prevention. The male side of the connection features a straight thread with an O-ring, while the female side has a straight thread with a machined surface and chamfer where the O-ring seats. When the components are connected, the O-ring is compressed into the chamfer, forming a reliable mechanical seal.
