The female DIN connection uses metric threads and relies on the compression of the ferrule or cutting ring to ensure a secure fit. These adapters are available in three pressure classes: LL for Extra Light Duty, L for Light Duty, and S for Heavy Duty applications. Kobelco fittings, a type of DIN fitting, use an L-series Metric thread with a 1.5mm thread pitch.
