Our Series SS9000 Straight Male BSPP x Male BSPP Nipple hydraulic adapters, made from rigid stainless steel, are designed for secure connections in fluid power systems using BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) threaded fittings. These adapters feature parallel threads that distort slightly to create a leak-tight seal, similar to the NPSM male connection, though the thread pitch and dimensions differ. The female swivel BSPP connection has a tapered nose flareless swivel, which seals against the cone seat of the male connector. The thread sizes are expressed in fractional dimensions with a "G" designation for parallel threads, such as BSPP 1/4-19, designated as G 1/4. Thread sealant is recommended for a strong, leak-free connection, as BSPP fittings require thread distortion for sealing.
