Series SS5001L Straight Male Light Duty DIN x Male BSPP Form B hydraulic adapters, made from durable stainless steel, provide secure and leak-resistant connections for hydraulic systems. These adapters use Form B, which means a metal-to-metal seal is created on the spot face port side of the fitting, offering a cost-effective alternative or a solution for high-heat applications where Viton seals may not be reliable. The DIN side of the adapter is designed to connect to light-duty DIN Tube fittings, adhering to ISO 8434-1 / DIN 2353 standards, which feature a 24° tapered throat for a strong connection. On the BSPP side, the male fitting has parallel threads that mate with the female BSPP fitting to create a secure, leak-tight seal using a captive metal-to-metal or metal-to-o-ring seal. This connection is similar to NPSM but uses a different thread pitch and dimensions, making it non-interchangeable. Thread sizes are denoted by "G" for parallel threads, like BSPP 1/4-19 (G 1/4), and thread sealant is recommended to ensure a leak-free connection.
