Shop Inline Male ORB - Male ORFS Live Swivels
Super Swivels Male O-Ring Boss (ORB) x Male Face Seal (MFS/MORFS) inline hydraulic swivels provide a compact, straight-through rotating transition between an SAE O-ring boss port and a female O-ring face seal hose end or fitting. Their one-piece barrel-and-stem construction and integrated ball-bearing race minimize rotational friction while withstanding heavy side loads, helping reduce hose twisting, kinking, premature seal wear, leaks, system shock, and downtime. Unlike a standard hydraulic adapter—which creates a fixed transition between connection types—a live hydraulic swivel accommodates repeated hose movement during operation. By combining the ORB-to-face-seal transition and rotating joint in one component, this design can eliminate additional adapters, reducing connection points, installation space, and overall hydraulic system cost.
Male ORB x Male Face Seal inline swivels are available in multiple sizes with zinc or nickel plating, several seal options, and model-specific maximum working pressures from 4,000 to 5,000 PSIG. Always confirm the selected part number’s ORB and face-seal sizes, pressure rating, seal material, fluid compatibility, and operating temperature. Do not exceed the rated pressure, and fully depressurize the system before installation or service. A flexible connector is required at one end; Super Swivels are not recommended for breathing air, oxygen, or steam service. The installer is responsible for determining California Proposition 65 compliance.

- Carbon Steel Zinc (Z) Plating is recommended for non-corrosive applications, i.e. hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.
- Carbon Steel Nickel (NI) Plating is recommended for mildly corrosive environments, i.e. water, mild chemicals, solvents, etc.
- (V) Viton (Fluorocarbon) – For most petroleum based applications. (-15ºF to 250ºF)
- (AL) Aflas (Tetrafluoroethylene-propylene copolymer) – Better resistance to chemicals. For service in high temperature environments. (+32ºF to 400ºF)
- (ETP) Extreme Viton – High resistance to many individual chemicals. (-6ºF to 437ºF).
Other seals available upon request include Buna, EPR, Neoprene and Markez.
