Our Series FS6402 Straight Male ORFS x Female JIC swivel hydraulic adapters provide secure, leak-proof connections for hydraulic systems. ORFS (O-ring Face Seal) fittings feature an O-ring seated in a groove on the face of the fitting, creating an elastomeric seal when compressed between the male fitting and the flat face of the mating component, ensuring a tight, leak-free connection. These adapters are made to SAE J1453 standards and commonly use Buna-N or Viton O-rings, ideal for high-pressure systems. On the other hand, JIC (Joint Industry Council) fittings, with a 37-degree flare seating surface and parallel threads, establish a mechanical seal by mating the male flared fitting with the female coned seat.
