Banjo Fittings are typically used as a 90-degree adapter where clearance issues may not allow for a conventional 90-degree adapter.

For example, these adapters may be used when a wall or obstruction won't allow for a longer 90-degree adapter. Banjo fittings are made from two components,

the banjo body (sometimes called a yolk) and the banjo bolt. The body can be positioned in the desired direction of orientation and then the bolt is tightened in place.

Once tightened, the direction is fixed, not to be confused with a live or constant swivel, which has similar construction but allows the non-port connection to move

while under pressure. Banjos are ideal for mobile applications due to their space and weight saving properties.
