Our Series 9624S Straight Female JIC x Male DIN hydraulic adapters are designed to connect two commonly used hydraulic fitting types: JIC and DIN. The DIN side has a 24° tapered throat angle inside the male threads, which creates a secure seal when a tube nut is tightened over the metric threads, compressing a ferrule or cutting ring. This connection is available in three pressure classes: Extra Light Duty (LL), Light Duty (L), and Heavy Duty (S). On the JIC side, the fitting features a 37° flare seating surface with parallel threads, which are standard in most fluid power systems. The seal is formed by the contact between the male flared and female coned seats, creating a mechanical connection. These adapters are ideal for transitioning between JIC and DIN systems, providing reliable and efficient hydraulic connections in a variety of applications.
