These adapters feature British Standard Pipe Parallel (BSPP) threads, which are similar to NPT threads but have slightly different thread pitch and form. Sealing is achieved by the distortion of the threads or a combination of metal-to-metal angled surfaces and an O-ring. The female swivel BSPP connection uses a tapered nose flareless swivel, ensuring a secure seal at the cone seat of the male connector. These adapters are ideal for applications where flexibility in positioning and secure leak-proof connections are required.
