Shop 9038 Straight Male BSPP - Female BSPP Bushing
Our Series 9038 Straight Male BSPP x Female BSPP hydraulic adapter bushings, made from carbon steel, are designed to connect two components with British Standard Pipe Parallel (BSPP) threads. These adapters are commonly used in hydraulic systems, where sealing occurs through metal-to-metal contact and, in some cases, an O-ring for a secure connection. BSPP threads, while similar to NPT, differ in thread pitch and form, requiring thread sealants for a leak-proof connection. The female swivel BSPP fitting features a tapered nose flareless swivel, ensuring a tight seal at the cone seat of the male connector. These adapter bushings are ideal for systems that demand high performance while maintaining reliable sealing. Thread sizes are designated by "G" for parallel threads, such as G 1/4 for
BSPP 1/4-19.
