Shop 9025 Straight Female BSPP Swivel Union
The Series 9025 Straight Female BSPP Swivel x Female BSPP Swivel Union Adapters in carbon steel are high-quality fittings designed to connect two BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) threaded components in fluid and gas systems. These BSPP threads are similar to NPT threads but feature a different thread pitch and are not interchangeable. The female BSPP connectors have a swivel design, allowing easier alignment and installation, and seal through metal-to-metal contact or a combination of metal-to-metal and O-ring seals. The seal occurs when the male connector’s cone seat meets the female swivel’s tapered nose flareless swivel. Made from durable carbon steel, these adapters are ideal for medium to high-pressure systems, offering strength and corrosion resistance. Thread sealants are recommended for a secure seal due to the thread distortion during connection.
