Shop 9008 Straight Male BSPT - Male NPT
The Adaptall Series 9008 Straight Male BSPT x Male NPT hydraulic adapters, made of carbon steel, are used to connect pipes for fluid and gas transfer in hydraulic systems. NPT (National Pipe Taper) connections feature tapered threads that seal through metal-to-metal contact, offering a durable, leak-tight connection ideal for permanent use. These connections are not recommended for frequent assembly and disassembly due to potential wear on the threads. BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper) connections also use tapered threads but have a different thread pitch and require thread sealants to ensure a secure seal. This adapter is ideal for applications where a strong, reliable connection is needed between NPT and BSPT fittings.
