Shop 90-Degree Male JIC Bulkhead - Male NPTF Live Swivels
Super Swivels 90-Degree Standard Pressure Male JIC Bulkhead x Male Pipe (NPTF) hydraulic swivels provide free rotation on one axis while creating a compact right-angle change in the fluid path. The male JIC bulkhead connection uses a 37-degree flare and allows the swivel to be securely mounted through a panel or bracket, while the male NPTF connection installs directly into a compatible female pipe port. The full-flow design reduces hose-line complexity and bend radius, allowing hoses and piping to move more freely while helping prevent twisting, kinking, shock damage, and premature hose failure. A heavy-duty ball-bearing race withstands side loads to minimize internal seal wear and leakage, while the JIC-to-NPTF configuration eliminates the need for a separate adapter. Available configurations include JIC bulkhead sizes from -6 through -20 and male NPTF sizes from 1/4" through 1-1/4", with a maximum working pressure of 3,500 PSI.
Warning: Select the correct swivel size and seal material for the system fluid, temperature, operating pressure, and application. Never exceed the maximum working pressure specified for the individual part number. Depressurize the hydraulic system before installation, inspection, or service; escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury. Secure the bulkhead connection to a properly sized, adequately supported panel or bracket. Apply compatible hydraulic thread sealant only to the male NPTF connection, keeping excess sealant away from the fluid passage. Do not apply pipe-thread sealant to the JIC connection, which seals at the 37-degree flare. Avoid overtightening and replace any swivel that is worn, damaged, or leaking.

- Carbon Steel Nickel (NI) Plating is recommended for mildly corrosive environments, i.e. water, mild chemicals, solvents, etc.
- (V) Viton (Fluorocarbon) – For most petroleum based applications. (-15ºF to 250ºF)
- (AL) Aflas (Tetrafluoroethylene-propylene copolymer) – Better resistance to chemicals. For service in high temperature environments. (+32ºF to 400ºF)
- (ETP) Extreme Viton – High resistance to many individual chemicals. (-6ºF to 437ºF).
