Our Series 5009L Straight Male Light Duty DIN x Female BSPP hydraulic adapters combine DIN and BSPP thread types to create a reliable, efficient connection for hydraulic systems. The DIN side features a 24° tapered throat inside the male threads, which, when tightened with a tube nut, compresses a ferrule or cutting ring to securely grip the tube and form a tight seal. This type of connection is suitable for light-duty applications, thanks to its durable yet space-saving design. The BSPP side uses parallel threads and forms a seal via metal-to-metal contact or a combination with an O-ring, similar to NPSM connections but with a different thread pitch. These adapters are ideal for systems where compactness, reliability, and secure fluid transfer are essential.
